JANUARY 2022:

Saturday 22.1.22, 8-10am Bird Walk in Earlswood Common, led by Andy Ritter, Wild Earlswood

FEBRUARY 2022:

13th February - Wild Earlswood - Earlswood Common and Lakes - Pond restoration. Restoring a 'lost' pond in the woodland, clearing tree and scrub to allow light in. 

26th February - CARR - Fairtrade Fortnight Climate Crisis stall, Reigate Methodist Church Hall. This year Fairtrade Reigate's trail around Reigate will end at the Methodist Church Hall where we will have a table to share information and have a chat. The Fairtrade movement are highlighting the link with the climate crisis in the need for growers and producers to be in a financial position to improve their practice to reduce environmental damage - but also to respond to the changing weather conditions. 

 

27th February - Wild Earlswood - Redhill Common - Laurel and Sycamore Clearance. Meet 10am by Dunottar School, corner of High Trees Road and Ringley Park Road RH2 7EN.

9th March - Wild Earlswood Organizers Meeting - St Luke's Church - please contact us if you wish to come.

 

13th March - Wild Earlswood - Redhill Common - Laurel and Sycamore Clearance. Meet 10am by Dunottar School, corner of High Trees Road and Ringley Park Road RH2 7EN.

23rd March - CARR organizers meeting - 7.30pm (whether zoom or in person to be confirmed)

April 2022:

5th April 7.15-9.15pm – Energy Action Redhill & Reigate (EARR) – at Redhill Baptist Church 

EARR's energy expert Andy Baldock is running a series of in person presentations on 

- how to calculate your household’s carbon footprint

- what you can do to reduce it, and

- what help is available to achieve that.  

There will be optional ‘homework’ (sent by e-mail in advance) so you can come more informed about your own energy use and potential options to reduce it, which will help make the options discussed in the talk more personal.

The event is organised by Redhill Baptist Church Creation Care Team. Click here to book your place.

20th April, 8pm CARR organizers meeting zoom. Contact us if you would like to join in.

24th September to 2nd October Reigate and Redhill's GREAT BIG GREEN WEEK- a festival of activities and events from organizations around the area celebrating their contribution to living greener, including some events from CARR, EARR and WE.

October 2022:

2nd October, 2.30-4pm - Wild Earlswood - Unearthing history, nature and potential conservation in Redhill Common. Guided walk by WE's Simon Elson alongside a day of conservation 10-4pm led by RACV. Click here for more information and to register.
