The Redhill & Reigate Great Big Green Week
18th - 26th September 2021
What is the Great Big Green Week?
The Great Big Green Week is a national campaigning week of activities led by the Climate Coalition to engage people with the issues around the climate and biodiversity crisis.
There will be thousands of events around the UK run by a variety of organizations, from climate groups, to conservation groups, to church groups, to schools and WIs.

Saturday 18.9.21, 10am-4pm, Repair Café reopens at The Yard - next to Reigate Station. (book or volunteer by messaging via Facebook https://www.facebook.com/reigaterepaircafe, or by emailing The Yard on info@allyourbusinessneeds.co.uk)
Wednesday 22.9.21, 7-8pm, “Climate Positive living in Redhill and Reigate – A practical guide to doing things that make a difference”, online event led by Lauma Kazusa (sharing hope, science and practical tips) and Jonathan Essex (councilor, cyclist and local campaigner), both in CARR. Saturday 25.9.21, 9.30am-12.30pm, Climate Action Redhill and Reigate information and activity stall - outside the Old Town Hall, Reigate.
Saturday 25.9.21, 9.30am-12.30pm, “Coffee in a changing climate- why your choice of coffee matters”, stall run by Fairtrade Reigate - outside Marks and Spencer's, Reigate.
Plus Fairtrade coffee morning at the nearby Methodist Community Centre.
Saturday 25.9.21, 3-5pm, Nature walk with update about Gatwick airport expansion, run by Wild Earlswood - at Redhill Common. (Eventbrite link here)
Sunday 26.9.21 2-4pm “Come to the table: Crisis Talks” with Extinction Rebellion (& bring a T-shirt to print) - in Priory Park.

This is our opening year for the Great Big Green Week in Redhill and Reigate and we anticipate growing year on year.
